Sales (Customer) Service

Classification: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Status: Accepting applications

The Sales Service Associate is responsible for managing relationships with new and existing customers, acting as the primary contact for customer questions and support. The Sales Service Associate will also provide support to the sales and marketing teams as needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between customer and internal production/manufacturing team, communicating customer requirements and requests
  • Answer customer inquiries and identify and address customers’ needs to ensure product satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Troubleshoot customer issues with internal teams (production, sales)
  • Assist sales and marketing teams with marketing plans; travel with sales representatives on occasional customer site visits
  • Keep current on company product offerings, procedures and equipment through training and meeting attendance

General Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or business a plus
  • One (1) year of related customer service experience or training
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of professions and personalities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to effectively read, write and speak English
  • Proficient using standard business systems, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self motivated, creative, innovative, persistent and flexible
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to decipher colors a plus
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing
